Working in construction for 7 years after graduating high school I became fond of architecture, learning how all materials are precisely connected to each other to bring together a space as whole. It was because of this experience that I came to appreciate the due diligence required to figure out the details that make buildings work. Throughout my academic career at Florida Atlantic University the goal for each project was to attempt to understand what systems would be need and how the systems worked together for the project to achieve its overarching  idea. Moving forward in my professional career I aspire to continue to grow my understanding of how different building system work together at a micro scale to create a whole at the macro.
